The character of the welsh corgi pembrokeAuthor Viktoria and PetroCommunity rates it: (no ratings yet) 40 of 49 readers found this review helpful. The most proper description of the Pembroke’s qualities – "A big dog in a small body". The general description of the breed’s standard reads as follows: “ Courageous, but friendly dog. The muzzle’s expression– intelligent and interested. The pembroke must not be suspicious or cowardly”. The pembroke is playful and likes amusement very much, but in the same time it will defend you without fear or timitidy. Many call pembrokes an embodiment of the affection to the owner – and it can hardly be objected. With this it easily amused and possesses the sense of humour rare for dogs.
The major advantage of the corgi is its benevolence. The pembroke will always find friends both among animals and people. At meeting unknown people the reaction of your pet may be from neutral (if it will dislike something) to cheerful – “look at me, how good am I and how I love you!” And you, in your turn, will fall in love at once with this charming creature – once and for all times.
